If you just began your search for a replacement Braun carafe, you may find the product reviews are quite mixed.  Several years back it appeared the quality of the glass on the replacements was of significantly lower quality than that of the original pots.  From what we can gather however, the quality has improved in recent years and matches that of the carafes that come with the machines.

Another concern by reviewers was that of the Aroma Deluxe model.  The position of the handle on this pot is awkward as it is “free-floating” and does not connect to the bottom of the carafe.  As a result of this design, the pot tends to get caught on other things and makes the overall feel of the carafe unsteady, especially when it is filled to the brim.

A Braun replacement pot will run you anywhere from $14.99 - $24.99. The glass on all carafes is labeled as “scratch resistant.” All lids are included with the pot replacement. Most models come in both black and white.
